Water Reticulation Supervisor

**The Role**:
We are looking for a savvy, driven, and competent Water Reticulation Supervisor to lead our South Waikato Team. You will provide leadership to your team ensuring they are working safely, completing quality work, on time, and to contract requirements.

This role has the responsibility and accountability for the overall performance of this team and contract, driving positive changes to our operation, unlocking opportunities for efficiency, and ensuring we are running a sharp operation.

**As Water Reticulation Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following**:

- Lead and coordinate several work crews across Tokoroa and the wider South Waikato area ensuring assigned work is carried out to safety,quality and within time requirements.
- Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of job requirements, priorities and objectives
- Supervise site works, ensuring compliance with both Civtec’s, customer and regulatory bodies requirements as well as meeting specified timeframes
- Scope and plan projects including equipment, materials and resource planning and management
- Coordinate internal and external suppliers and resources ensuring timely completion of required work
- Complete site audits and work with the team to take any necessary corrective action as required
- Providing technical advice and support where required
- Training and coaching the team to support continuous development
- Provide information and support with internal and external reporting requirements as required
- Proven experience in a leadership/Supervisory role within the Water sector (comfortable running and managing several work crews)
- Ideally have New Zealand Certificate in Water Reticulation Level Four
- Demonstrated performance in delivering projects on time and within budget and in line with health, safety, quality and environmental objectives
- Ability to develop strong relationships and build rapport easily
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to lead, grow and motivate through both written and verbal channels
