This opportunity should be in your scope As Category Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to the category team in delivering strategies that improve Hunting & Fishing's market position, customer satisfaction, store sales, and profitability.

**About this Role**:

- Assist in the delivery of category strategies
- Capture accurate and up to date product data
- Provide analytical support by analysing numerical, verbal and other data sources to make new product recommendations
- Predict and respond to trends in product, customer and experience
- Planning, delivery and review of promotions
- Supplier management
- Comprehensive post implementation review data and reports
- Aid in the group promotional activity and buying process

**What we are looking for**:

- Numerically minded and enjoy using numbers to analyse situations and support decision making
- Live the brand and bring a passion for the outdoors to work
- Be a self-starter with a strong focus on attention to detail
- Build relationships based on trust
- Be inquisitive and solve problems with effective solutions
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office (Excel essential) and Power BI an advantage
- Be proactive and have the resilience to deal with challenges
