Rotorua District Bay of Plenty, New Zealand Sabroso Restaurant Full time

**Sabroso** Restaurant is seeking a permanent, part time **Kitchen Assistant** to help our small team in **Rotorua** for **5 - 15 hours per week**.

This role will primarily focus on **cleaning, dishwashing and assisting our Chef** in a 24 seat owner-operated restaurant in the heart of Rotorua’s central business district. Additional tasks will include front-of-house assistance and guest service.

About the Role:

- **Main Focus**: maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout Sabroso and assisting Chef with food preparation
- **Secondary Focus**: helping in front-of-house during hours of dinner service with clearing and resetting tables, etc.

To Apply, You Will Need:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- **Reliability**, attention to detail, and pride in your work
- To be **available to work Tuesday - Saturday nights,**and some afternoons
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

Bonus if You Have:

- Previous experience in commercial kitchens, restaurants or other hospitality venues
