**About the Ōtaki to North Levin Project**:
The Ōtaki to North Levin project focuses on upgrading the transport link along State Highway 1 (SH1) between Ōtaki and North Levin to improve road safety, reduce congestion, enhance travel efficiency, and support regional economic growth.

In partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and the Horowhenua District Council, this project will be executed through a two-alliance approach. Each alliance will be responsible for delivering a section of the road and associated works, ensuring a collaborative and comprehensive delivery.

This exciting new four-lane 24.8km highway project will dramatically improve safety and resilience, providing better access to walking and cycling facilities for those moving around or through the Horowhenua and Kāpiti districts. The project includes multiple large complex bridge structures plus a full interchange at Taraua Road, a half interchange north at Taylors Road, two roundabouts and approximately 4m m3 of complex earthworks significant, drainage infrastructure and a structural asphalt concrete pavement.

This role is supporting the North Alliance (delivered by partners Fulton Hogan, HEB Construction, WSP and Aurecon)

**The Role**:
As a BIM Modeller you'll be responsible for developing BIM models, working together with designers and subcontractors to interpret designs and drawings, producing accurate models for our project teams. This role will ideally be located in Levin and is permanent, full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours a week work.
- Lead and enable setup of BIM on Projects interfacing with design consultant (Partners), IT support and project teams
- Provide specialist support to the inhouse development digital tools to support both projects and the interface between the existing IT Systems architect team and projects teams
- Develop and implement strategy to grow and develop the HEB BIM and Digital capability
- Develop relationships with client digital managers and keep regular contact to understand clients changing needs on the digital front and advise on strategy as to how to respond on this
- Work in collaboration with other project support services such as Quality, Project controls and IT support, provide technical leadership in digital systems reform and data standardization on projects

**About You**:
While we provide a variety of training and advancement opportunities for all of our people, to succeed in this role you will have:

- Ideally 3+ years in BIM implementation
- Detailed knowledge of model-based design (BIM) protocols, standards, and software.
- Background in BIM software packages and Data management systems such as Autodesk BIM suite, Revit, BIM360 and Revizto
- Previous experience in an infrastructure or building discipline
- The ability to manage your own workload and respond to project team needs
- Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to work collaboratively alongside project team
- Good communication skills and ability to manage deadline with attention to detail
