Based in Penrose, Auckland, Fresh to Go is a leading manufacturer of fresh salads, gourmet salads and other food products which are sold in supermarkets and fast food chains. Right now the company is looking for a HR Coordinator.

This will be a perfect opportunity for someone to get into HR. And it could launch you on an HR pathway leading to more senior roles down the line.

You don't even need a HR or business qualification. But you need to have the soft skills such as a high work ethic and communication that this role demands.

The role firstly requires you to assist with HR tasks including recruiting, onboarding and induction for new production employees.

You will be a welcoming face to prospective and new employees.

You will also be responsible for other HR tasks such as maintaining and updating training records, monitoring absenteeism and performance scorecarding.

Ideally you will have a strong background working in teams and team leadership that have produced high performance. A team sports background is also helpful. So while a specific HR qualification may be beneficial, what we are really looking for is someone who walks the talk when it comes to team and personal performance.

An interest in working in the food industry is also required. Other requirements include:

- Have permanent residence, citizenship or a valid work visa.
- Have good levels of physical fitness
- Can relate well to people of many cultures and ethnicities including Maori, Samoan, Chinese, Tongan, Indian, Filipino and Pakeha.
- Can work in a smoke-free, alcohol-free and drug-free environment
- Have reliable, private transport
- You are a top person with a great attitude.

**Salary**: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
