**About the role**

We are currently looking for someone to lead our Finished Products QC team for approximately 12 months while our current Supervisor heads on parental leave. Reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager, you will lead a team of analysts, review chemists and technical leads in the testing of commercial animal pharmaceuticals and stability products.

The key focus areas for you will be to develop and empower your team while working in collaboration to ensure the efficient release of testing results that are compliant with GMP regulations. As their people leader, you will provide technical expertise for analytical testing of pharmacopeia and wet chemistry knowledge while actively completing laboratory investigations and report writing. As a champion of health, safety and quality, driving continuous improvement projects within your team will ensure you stay one step ahead.

**About you**

We are looking for someone who can build strong, collaborative working relationships across multiple departments, while also maintaining a commitment to driving a quality culture within the department. You will have strong leadership skills with proven success in leading a team with flexibility, the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Your background, experience and attributes will include:

- Relevant tertiary science qualification.
- Working experience within a cGMP environment.
- Sound technical knowledge of analytical testing.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to be flexible and resilient to change.
- Logical problem-solving capabilities and ability to make decisions. Driven individual that takes ownership of responsibilities.
