We are hiring for leading construction companies based in Wellington, and we are looking for hammerhands to join our team. As a hammerhand, you will assist our qualified and skilled tradespeople with various aspects of building work, such as laying foundations, measuring and cutting materials, installing cladding, windows and doors, and using power and hand tools. You will also be responsible for keeping the work area safe and tidy, and following the company’s policies and procedures.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to have**:

- Elementary carpentry trade skills, knowledge and experience
- Physical strength, good balance, eye-hand coordination and stamina
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to go the extra mile
- Knowledge of using basic hand tools
- A tidy appearance and a good team spirit
