Truck Driver: Class 5

SIDHUNZ Limited is a Tauranga-based company specializing in Road Freight Transport service.
We work as contractors for Mainfreight Limited. We are currently seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our Tauranga team.
The position is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 40 hrs per week which can include weekend work.
The successful applicant will be someone who is enthusiastic about work, who is looking for job security, and who shares our passion for driving and delivering excellent customer service.
Delivering a wide variety of Goods and Cargo to different routes and various regions.
Follow routes and time schedule.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
Maintain clear records of deliveries made.
Complete log books on time and reports accurately and in a timely clear manner.
Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards.
Handing job sheets in a professional timely manner.
Maneuvering vehicles into the correct position for loading and unloading.
Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading trucks.
Making regular quality checks are carried out correctly to ensure the trucks can be driven and used in safely manner.
Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage of items.
Reporting to the Manager/Director.
Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration, and COF of the vehicle are up to date.
Must be physically fit for manual handling of deliveries.
Ensure the truck is loaded appropriately at all times and the material is recorded correctly.
Ensure all loads comply with height, weight, and specification at all times.
Must Pass Drug Test and random drug testing when required.
Must not have any prior driving convictions.
No criminal record.
Must hold a Valid New Zealand or International License or +equivalent to Class 5 of New Zealand Truck Driving License.
