**Who will you be working for?**

**What will you be doing?**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide support to the production team, and have the adaptability to work across the Office, Factory or Despatch departments as required. This will be a busy and diverse role and will include:

- Processing of inwards goods and inter-departmental transfers.
- Purchasing of consumables and spare parts.
- Liaise with shipping companies and prepare shipping documents.
- Carry out stock counts.
- Assist with training of new recruits, including inducting contractors and truck drivers.
- Collect and despatch product samples for testing, and results documented.
- Provide ad hoc assistance as requested e.g. organising the catering for events.
- Assist with ensuring that H&S documentation is maintained and compliant.
- Provide backup for logistics roles.

**Who are we looking for?**
- You must have excellent numerical and computer skills, and have used ERP systems before.
- You are able to communicate effectively. You can succinctly translate ‘the complex’ into ‘the understandable’ for customers at all levels.
- You have had experience in an administrative role, ideally within a manufacturing / production environment, or building related industry.
- You have sound problem solving and logical thinking skills.
- You must have a valid Driving License.
- Most importantly, you have a friendly and helpful demeanour. You can spot when something needs to be done or assistance is required and are quick to volunteer your services.
