**Our **teams work**:
As a member of the Urban Design Team you'll provide advice and creative solutions to enable communities' aspirations for quality places and neighbourhoods.

We work across a range of scales and projects including residential and commercial development, spatial planning, transport, housing, community facilities and placemaking. You'll contribute through expert advice, design review, design concepts and guidelines, policy and plan preparation, and evaluation and reporting.

The diversity of our work ensures strategy and policy is informed by operational delivery, and through the relationships and partnerships we develop.

**Who we're looking for**:
Our small team are seeking a qualified urban designer with a positive, pragmatic and collaborative approach to join us.

You'll be a few years into your career thinking about a next step that provides a diverse range of work, grounded in the needs of our communities. You'll have strong design skills, an ability to communicate effectively, and enjoy being challenged daily to bring your best. You'll have an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the legislative context we work in. You'll bring an enthusiastic nature, be organised and adaptable.
