Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Te Pūriri o Te Ora Regional Cancer and Blood Service, based at Auckland City Hospital, is the leading provider of cancer care in the Auckland region, serving a large and varied population of around 1.7 million people.
Psychologists working in this role will provide individual psychological care to patients who are undergoing cancer treatment to assist their adjustment and improve their wellbeing. Psychologists will have the opportunity to work in an inpatient and outpatient setting as well as work on projects, and provide education and supervision to other staff groups, students and psychology colleagues.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
To be successful for this role, you will be a NZ Registered Psychologist (Clinical or General scope), holding a current annual practising certificate or be eligible for registration.
You will also be motivated, collaborative and flexible and able to work both autonomously within a multi team context. You will be able to demonstrate a clear vision and aptitude for the way a Psychologist can contribute effectively within this setting.
