We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with a focus on insights to join our Data Centre of Excellence. As the central data team, we support ongoing growth in analytics across our global company.

We are centred in ICT with strong connections across the organisation, putting us in a unique position to deliver business impact through analytics.

**The Role**:
In this role, you will tell insightful data stories that show what is possible with good data and visualization practice. You will identify opportunities to push beyond descriptive statistics and reporting to generate additional insight.

Through this work you will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of stakeholders across a broad range of business units.

**Our Team**:
We are Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's central data and analytics team. Our rapidly growing team serves as our organisation's Data Centre of Excellence.

We provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders around the business. We also build critical data solutions for the organisation that are scalable and secure with the goal of enabling self-service BI.

**About You**:

- You're intellectually curious and excited to learn.
- You’re proactive with your work, but also know when to ask for help.
- You're adept at communicating complex concepts, such as relationship cardinality.
- You enjoy seeing people’s ‘eyes light up’ when they realise just what good data and reporting can help them achieve.
- You will seek out opportunities to enable better insights across the organisation.
- You love championing best practices - seeing the impact they have on both your technical deliverables as well as the experience of your end users.
- You bring a sense of humour to your work.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience producing data insights and telling data-driven stories to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience working in a large organisation preferred, especially in an enterprise data role.
- Experience working with an enterprise data and reporting platform. Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
- Clear conceptual understanding of relational data modelling.
- Experience with a coding language. DAX, SQL and Python experience preferred.
- Tertiary qualification or similar in a technical discipline.
