**About the Role**:
We are looking for a Junior Audio Designer to help create amazing games that engage and entertain.

**The Junior Audio Designer's responsibilities include**:

- Align with the project vision, delivering appropriate audio within project constraints.
- Compose soundtracks, provide sound effects, and edit voice-over, as directed by a Senior Audio Designer or Audio Director
- Work constructively with other audio designers and team members to deliver results within constraints
- Working efficiently and effectively. Working independently when required, but also actively collaborating with others.
- Be flexible and prepared to work on a variety of projects, with a variety of needs.

**Requirements**:

- Audio creation and editing experience in a professional environment
- Excellent knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations [e.g. Logic X or Pro-tools]
- Skilled or knowledge in Digital audio middleware [e.g. FMOD, Wwise]
- Skilled with Unity.
- Keen interest in video games and interactive media
- Understanding of limitations for audio in mobile titles.
- Good self-management skills.
- Great ability to work with others in a collaborative environment.
- Desire to learn, to share knowledge and to help others.
- Creatively minded, with a good understanding of the needs of the player.
- An approachable, empathetic, and encouraging personality.
- Applicants must already have the established right to work within New Zealand.
- This is a full time, on-site role in our Wellington, NZ studio. Remote work is not available for this position (although we have optional 'work from home' days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
