Pulpmill Operator

We have an exciting opportunity within our Pulp team for a highly motivated, goal-oriented person who enjoys physical work and learning on the job.
**About the role**

In this role, you will support the Pulpmill operation including warehousing and dispatch, ensuring a safe and tidy workplace and undertaking critical safety procedures.

We will provide full training and development, ensuring you are well equipped for a clear career progression path to a senior operating position. You will be well remunerated with a starting salary of over $63k and an opportunity to exceed $100k at the completion of the development period. There is also the opportunity for occasional overtime.

**About you**

You'll need to be passionate and driven to succeed in an industrial environment and have strong mechanical aptitude to be able to identify problems and find a solution

Ideally, you'll have good work experience under your belt, know your way around machinery and be able to communicate clearly to keep safe on the job.

- Strong health & safety awareness

Because there is a rotating work pattern, you will need to be flexible and able to work well in a team environment. You will also need NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
