Seeking 5 Electrical Trades Assistants - Site Safety Supervisor in the lift and escalator industry

We are seeking an individual who is not only skilled in electrical and mechanical aspects but also committed to safety and eager to learn from experienced professionals.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Lift/Escalator Technicians in new installations, repairs, and maintenance of lift and escalator systems.
- Following blueprints and technical specifications for installations.
- Ensuring technical requirements and specifications are met throughout projects.
- Supporting troubleshooting and issue resolution with experienced Technicians.
- Participating in testing, commissioning, and safety procedures.
- Maintaining health and safety protocols and compliance on construction sites.
- Organizing and cleaning work areas for efficiency and safety.
- Responsible handling of tools and materials.
- Adhering to schedules, guidelines, and technical manuals.
- Collaborating with the team to meet project needs and deadlines.
- Overseeing site safety and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
- Liaising with clients on safety documents.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Desire to learn and grow in the lift and escalator systems field.
- Minimum 1-year construction experience with valid site safe card OR
- Minimum NZQA level 3 in electrical, mechanical, or construction trades.
- Basic understanding of electrical installation and mechanical systems.
- Strong commitment to safety practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn from experienced Technicians.
