**The Company**
My client is the NZ subsidiary of a large multinational US based company that has revenue in excess of $6billion USD. The company is privately owned and still has a family feel so is truly a unique company. With the global business run by the family, the stability and funding is something quite incredible. This company is leading in their field on a global scale. The NZ business operates circa $65M and continues to grow & expand. The business is based in Otahuhu with hybrid working 2 days from home per week once you are trained.
**The Role**
The role of FP&A Analyst reports to the Head of Finance and will really work closely with the CFO as well. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Head of Finance to provide insightful analytics into the business performance, with KPI reporting and analysis
- Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts bi-monthly
- Prepare monthly reporting packs to management to aid decision-making (picking up from the Financial Accountants who prepare the month end)
- Capex budgeting and forecasting and owning the capex business case process
- Prepare dashboard reporting by cost centres and support business unit managers
- Prepare contract reviews & analysis
- Own the annual insurance renewal process and keep the register of leases
- Critically review WIP and report thereon.
- Process improvement including partnering with the systems Accountant to ensure quality information.
- Other ad hoc analysis as required.
**Skills & Experience**
To be considered for this role, we are looking for a qualified or equivalent Accountant who has a strong financial / management accounting background but wants to specialise in the business analytics area. You will need to have the following attributes:
- Strong excel capability and experience with large ERP systems
- Preference for data warehouse skills experience
- CA or equivalent qualification
- Large business experience
- Strong communication and partnering skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think laterally.
- Problem solving capability
