**About the Team/Service/ Location**
Our Tairāwhiti Way of Working involves working collectively across agencies to enable whānau to flourish. Those with excellent communication skills and those who prioritise collaboration are welcome to apply.
We work in a transdisciplinary model to maximise use of face to face time and provide care in the most natural settings i.e. home and education centres.
We prioritise the needs identified by whānau rather than assumed by others in order for the right person to be selected to provide support in the right place at the right time.
With consent the local workforce of health, education and community support agencies share information, work flexibly and collectively to reduce barriers and provide the support that the whānau needs and requests.
**About you**
- Applicants must be a NZ registered Occupational Therapist:_
- _A current practising certificate_
- _A thorough knowledge of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and a sensitivity to different cultures_
- _A current, full, clean drivers’ license_
- _A ‘whatever it takes’ approach_
