The opportunity:
At AIA we are big users of Salesforce. As part of the team you will get the chance to make the most of Salesforce Omnistudio, Lightning, Communities and Marketing Clould to create beautiful digital experiences for customers, advisers and staff.

As a Salesforce System Administrator, you will contribute to the functional configuration/development, deployment and operational support of technical solutions. The contribution will ensure a high quality engineering outcome is delivered and deployments are successful.

Over time your contribution and leadership across our Salesforce and front end team will:
Improves our technical practices

Drive technology simplication; and Foster an engineering culture across the team

As part of technical Community, you will follow the best practice standards and, where appropriate, further improve those standards, ensure there is clarity on expectations and assist other team members.

About the role:
Using a range of agreed technologies, you will be assisting on project(s), Small Work Requests and/or BAU activities, covering systems and platforms in your domain.

Technical Business Analysis- Develop understanding of business requirements through liaison with key business user groups / stakeholders.- Provide assistance to the estimation process to include the identification of required resource types and effort - covering functional configuration/development and deployment aspects of the delivery lifecycle.

Functional Design- Upskill and develop a detailed technical knowledge of the functional designs, implementation and infrastructure related to your assigned systems.- Assist in maintaining functional designs that adhere to all applicable standards and have taken into considerations associated data, system integration, security, auditing, scalability, supportability and complexity.

Application Configuration- Where required assist in the functional design, configuration, testing class build and deployment of software components. For instance- User Record Management-
- New Fields, Page Layouts & Objects-
- Report Type Creation & Report & Dashboard Folders-
- Workflow, Assignment & Validation Rules-
- Process Builder / Visual FlowList Views-
- Home Page Announcement-
- Ensure all code, defects and releases are managed using the agreed tools and processes.

Technical Support- Contribute to a proactive programme of work to ensure your systems remain robust, reliable and supportable. For instance- Regular review of Org Health-
- Licence utilization review-
- Storage monitoring-
- Manage Salesforce seasonal releases and platform releases-
- Contribute to the timely resolution to functional incidents impacted your systems within the agreed Service Level Agreements.

Quality Assurance- Ensure that the quality of each deliverable is acceptable and aligned with best practice and agreed standards.- Assist with risk and impact assessments on all deliverables.- Continually manage the expectations of the business and project stakeholders as functional solution and deliverables evolves as required.- Assist with ongoing design and code reviews.- Prepare all relevant quality documentation as directed.

Working With Development Team- Work collaboratively with the AIA Development Teams (local and offshore) and vendors to deliver required software solutions.- Assist with the on-going retention of functional/technical knowledge and skills to ensure the ongoing supportability of systems.

Methodology - Agile (Scrum) & Waterfall regardless of the domain.- Other mandatory technical skills that depend on the domain the role and assigned systems will be provided separately.- Managing your workload to ensure delivery objectives are met.

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce System Administrator)- Good understanding of CI/CD process- Good understanding of code branching strategies will be advantageous- Obtained or working towards Ba
