At New World Victoria Park, we've got the BEST liquor department around With such a big responsibility, we rely on brilliant leaders to operate with pace and passion and drive a people first culture, focused on delighting our customers. We are wanting to fill TWO **fixed** term** positions for the below hours. It would be an immediate start until 24 December 2024.

**Fixed Full-Time: Sunday-Thursday 1pm-9pm**

**Fixed Part Time: Friday 3pm-10pm & Saturday 3pm-9pm**

As the Liquor Assistant, the focus of your role is to ensure the Liquor department is presented in an appealing manner at all times and eye-catching displays are built and maintained. You’ll assist the Liquor Manager and Store Manager to:
**The Role**:

- Merchandise the department appropriately, as per a daily/weekly plan building and maintaining attractive, eye-catching displays.
- Work with heavy items and products with efficiency
- Actively engage with customer offering, product knowledge and advice on purchasing decisions.
- Ensure appropriate stock control / stock taking processes and procedures are in place
- Working closely with our AMAZING liquor team.

**What are we looking for?**
- Someone strong & physically fit to be able to move heavy stock items with efficiency and care.
- Reliable individuals able to work on their own and in a very good team as well.
- A confident person with previous retail experience and a good overall knowledge of local and imported beverage brands.
- A fantastic attitude and work ethic and a passion for making a workplace great.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- The ability to listen to instructions and make things happen.
