We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable person to join our Water and Wastewater team. This role has a wastewater focus and involves the operation and maintenance of Council’s wastewater treatment plants and pump stations throughout the district.

This is a busy role where a typical day could involve repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting and process control, sampling, lab tests and data analysis, all while ensuring compliance with environmental and health standards.

** About you**:
Qualifications and experience in wastewater treatment is essential. Our ideal applicant will be a hardworking, team player with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on health and safety. Computer skills and the ability to understand data and draw appropriate conclusions is vital.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in an afterhours standby roster, will need to be available weekends on a rostered basis and have a full drivers licence.
