**About the Role**:
As a **labourer** you will play an integral role in working effectively and proactively as part of the Gas Bottle Sorting / Cleaning / Filling Division whilst ensuring quality and safety, and further **supporting processes and activities to ensure quality and safety across NZ homes, businesses and BBQ customers.**

**Responsibilities included**
- **Safety** - Ensure safe work practices for yourself and others, wearing of appropriate PPE, identifying safety issues (though raising near misses), action close outs & ensure all standards are maintained and signed off
- **Quality** - Complete standard and quality checks and process
- **Teamwork** - Prioritise and proactively participate in the safety for yourself, your colleagues and your community.
- Filling cylinders with LPG gas in a variety of sized cylinders
- Assessing and inspecting returned Gas / LPG cylinders
- Cleaning, scrapping, painting and moving cylinders
- General hand around the yard with a variety of manual tasks
- Basic Paper work
- Attention to detail to check expiry dates.

**This role requires the following**:

- Having a current FORK LIFT lic with is advantageous but not essential
- Focus and knowledge of safe work practices and hazard prevention due to chemicals onsite
- Keen eye for detail, to problem solve and display good decision-making skills
- Great work ethic to work on your own, and as a part of a team
- Flexibility and ability to learn quickly to upskill
- Previous knowledge of LPG / Gas industry experience (Beneficial NOT essential)
- A good physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
