Grocery Supervisor

We're looking to progress internal talent into this Grocery Supervisor position.

**The Role**

As a Grocery Supervisor your responsibilities will include;
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the Grocery Department (mornings) including leading a team of Grocery Assistants
- Assessing daily needs of the team and adjusting priorities as they change
- Ensuring the shop is full and appealing throughout the hours of trade
- Escalating issues to the Grocery Manager/Duty Manager
- Support the development of the team and contribute to a positive store culture

Our Grocery Supervisor will be someone who has a co-operative spirit and an eye on the bigger picture. The Grocery Supervisor will primarily be rostered mornings, this will be negotiated and tailored to the applicant.

**About You**

Tuesday to Saturday 4am to 2pm

You will already have a good understanding of supermarket operations, this experience may be from within the Grocery Department or elsewhere in the store. You will also have;
- Leadership skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to time manage
- Communication skills with a strong customer focus
- Ability to set the tone of the shift with a positive and engaging manner
