Baker wanted

We are a family-owned bakery based in Henderson, Auckland. We are now looking for one permanent and full-time baker to join our team, guaranteeing 30h/week, working on roster from Monday to Sunday.

Our pay: $25 - $28, depending on your skill and experience.

- at least 2 years relevant experience in the same field or industry, or have a relevant NZ level 4 qualification or equivalent qualifications;
- an attention to detail;
- be able to multitask; and
- be a teamplayer.

Your main tasks include:

- Measure, combine raw materials and ingredients manually or with tools/equipments to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread, and other pastries.
- Make sweet, savory, and other fillings, sources and toppings.
- Weigh and check the quality of the ingredients, raw materials and fillings to ensure quality standard are met.
- Set, adjust, and monitor oven, and other cookware's temperature to ensure proper baking and cooking time
- Take out the baked goods from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished goods.
- Decorate, glaze and adjust the appearance of the finished goods.
- Test the finished products to ensure each product meets the food safety and qualiity requirements.
- Clean and prepare workstations to ensure all equipments are santised and well-prepared for the next shift.
- Ensure the cleanliness of equipment, machine and workstation before each operation to esnure compliance with health and safety regulations.
