**Role description**:
In this Mechanical Design Engineer role, you'll bolster the sales, service, and manufacturing departments, delivering effective machine design, ensuring top-notch product quality, and playing a key role in the evolution of existing products to boost functionality and drive down manufacturing costs.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Prioritizing tasks to ensure timely design outputs
- Creating feasible concepts and designs based on provided parameters
- Providing technical expertise to all workshop departments
- Developing high-quality assembly, detailed drawings, and issue sheets for manufacturing
- Supplying technical details for the creation of machine manuals

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- A Degree in Engineering
- Experience with quality systems and proficiency in CAD, CAM, and other design software
- Exceptional decision-making abilities
- High concentration levels, with a focus on minimizing errors and understanding the broader implications of design decisions
- Proactiveness in recognizing opportunities in new materials, processes, and equipment
