Quality Facilitator

Are you an experienced registered nurse, with a passion for quality, risk, privacy and infection control looking to support high quality services provided?

Do you have a knowledge of risk management, quality assurance, external audit compliance and certification or interested to develop more in this area?

Te Mahi/About the Position

We have an exciting part-time permanent position (0.6fte) working Monday - Friday

The Quality Facilitator is a pivotal team member for our Quality team providing support, coordination and evidence-based advice for our quality programme across the organisation, with a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Key aspects of the Quality Team include:

- Supports services prepare for external audit compliance and certification.
- Providing high standard care across services to develop nursing knowledge.
- Support systems to monitor and manage infection prevention and control.
- Involvement in promoting, monitoring and maintaining standards relating to clinical and organisational quality and risk.

He momo/About you

You will be a Registered Nurse with an Annual Practicing Certificate, experience in quality and risk management, infection control and the following:
Registered Nurse with current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate.

Post-Graduate Qualification or working towards.

Comprehensive knowledge of quality systems to support the maintenance of external audit and certification standards.

Experience in auditing.

Knowledgeable on health-related legislation.

Understanding or working knowledge of clinical governance.

Advanced learning and contemporary nursing knowledge in infection control or working towards.
