We are a busy kebab store based in Wellington and are actively looking for a sincere, hardworking, and passionate individual for the role of a Store Manager who can control and look after the store operations smoothly. Key duties would be as below but not limited to:

- Controlling and managing the store operations thoroughly.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure scheduling and handling inventory
- Order stock through existing and/or source new suppliers
- Negotiating purchase promotion and supply arrangements with suppliers
- Introducing the new range of products to uplift the sales of the business.
- Pricing the products by conducting a thorough research and running store specials from time to time to ensure gross profits are being met.
- Delegating tasks to employees and making sure they are carried out accordingly
- Recruiting and interviewing potential employees if required
- Ensuring smooth transition of new employees in the company
- Direct staff to ensure store is maintained at all times, including appropriate staff uniforms and customer service by all staff.
- Effective store merchandizing and promotions
- Managing deliveries ensure “check in” and “check out” reports of stock are accurately completed.
- Undertaking the budgeting of the business/store.
- Ensure stock pricing is accurately managed to ensure gross profits are being met.
- Manage day-to-day banking and accounts of the business
- Meeting operational expectations to ensure smooth running of the store
- Maintaining high quality standards
- Using commercial skills to reach desired sales records, stock and wage budgets.
- Designing and implementing marketing strategies for the growth of the business.
- Marketing/Advertising the business using different modes such as Social media etc.
- Handling customer complaints and resolving grievances.
- Training and development of staff.
- Motivating staff members and offering incentives when possible
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure store Health & Safety policies are complied at all times.

**Additional Details**
- Minimum guaranteed hours 30 hours per week.
- Pay rate would be between $28-$30 depending upon the skills and experience.
- Relevant qualification preferrable but not mandatory

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
