One of Stellar’s key clients is looking for Power Technicians to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of NZ’s largest essential infrastructure services provider.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Performing high and low voltage maintenance and construction work to client specifications
- Relay testing, Operations controls, Comms Installations
- Responding to emergency fault breakdown work within response times
- Installing and testing earthing systems
- Installing switchboards to current regulations
- Ensuring optimal reliability and performance
- Flexibility in dealing with adverse weather, resource, materials, and other conditions.
- Understanding and implementing the company health and safety policy and taking reasonable care of own health and safety and the health and safety of others.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Full Class 1 New Zealand _or_ international equivalent driver’s license.
- 2+ years' HV industry experience.
- Proven technical experience in high voltage zone substations environment SCADA, protection relay configuration and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
