**Electrical Planner Scheduler**:

We currently have a **permanent opportunity** available within the **Waikato North Head Maintenance team** for an experienced **Electrical Planner Scheduler**

**About the Role**

This role is based at our **Waikato North Head Mine Site**, located on **Ghezzie Road, Otaua**. It is a **full-time position**, **Monday to Friday**, and some overtime as required.

Reporting to the **WNH Maintenance Superintendent**, the Electrical Planner Scheduler plays a crucial role in coordinating and preparing maintenance work. You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities from a project management perspective—establishing sequences, procuring necessary parts, and ensuring resources are available before work begins.

From time to time, this role will also provide coverage for the **PME Team Leader** and other Maintenance Planner Scheduler roles within the team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support planning and scheduling of plant equipment maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
- Contribute to business leadership by supporting a clearly aligned maintenance strategy.
- Minimise maintenance costs through careful cost control and process improvements.
- Ensure technical procedures and maintenance work meet correct standards and specifications.

**What You’ll Bring**
We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual with a strong background in electrical or instrumentation trades. Your experience in maintenance planning and scheduling will be essential to your success in this role.

**To be successful, you will need**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or an electrical trade background (dual-trade experience is a plus)
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and estimating
- Familiarity with **SAP R/3** or similar systems
- Commitment to safety procedures and standards
- Strong planning, organising, and delegation skills
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
- Advanced computer skills, including spreadsheets and planning tools
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
