WELL Health is looking for a Technical Writer to help us solve client business challenges and generate elated end-users of our products and services. As a Technical Writer, you will help create and build out a modern documentation and user assistance infrastructure. You will be a core part of the product management team working closely with software engineering, customer operations and service delivery to create resources that don’t just document what the product does, but accelerates a user from novice to power user.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure best practices and consistent delivery approaches are utilized on assigned projects.
- Work with product managers and software engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including user guides, topic sheets, release notes and major version documentation.
- Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
- Regular use of a content management system (CMS) to manage the lifecycle of technical documentation including draft, review, and publish phases.
- Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
- Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.
- Write for a variety of audiences, from non-technical end users to programmers, system administrators, and integrators.

**Requirements**:

- BSc/BA or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of industry experience.
- Solid understanding of technical writing principles and key success criteria.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, customer-oriented attitude and good conceptual thinking skills.
- Nice to haves:

- Demonstrated experience with Electronic Medical Record software
- Solid understanding of agile and waterfall implementation methodologies.
