**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Machine Operator** to work in our conversion department at our plant based in **Airport Oaks**. We are looking for operators for our afternoon shift which is 02:00pm - 10:00pm. This is all Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for monitoring machine output, ensuring the products meet client specifications and all products are completed to a high standard of quality. If you do not have experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment, full training will be provided. This role does require some heavy lifting so it is required that you are physically fit. You will attend a full site induction and food safety course, as well as full training on SOPs and you will have the opportunity to progress through the levels - this is encouraged. The main duties include:

- Maintain continuous operation of the conversion machines
- Ensure batch weight inputs are correct and match the job requirements
- Maintain optimum machine output in line with the production plan
- All scrap is monitored and minimised where possible
- Strive to upskill and nominate areas for potential improvement
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly Master Cleaning Schedule for Converting

**Skills & Requirements**
- Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills; as well as good mechanical understanding
- Reliable transport to get yourself to and from work
- No criminal history
- Possess a keen and positive attitude and can easily adapt and learn new systems
- Must be a team player
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have no criminal convictions
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to do some heavy lifting
