**Job Description**:
The Printing Operator is responsible for supporting individual press performance in accordance with the Sealed Air Performance Management System (PMS) environment. This includes but not limited to meeting quality, productivity, and safety standards. Key Performance Indicators

Meet performance expectations (output, yield, no defects, no shortcuts)
Set up custom orders on machinery for each customer run.
Check data sheet and sales type to ensure proper set up.
Check packaging schedule to ensure proper packaging.
Verify rolls through the packaging schedule.
Complete all paperwork correctly.
Obtain proper colour ink from ink dispenser and reduce/increase viscosity when needed.
Install correct plates on ink stations.
Produce production tickets.
When changing orders, ensure the support operations aware of the type of supplies needed.
Verify order information.
Visual check of the product must be done, along with paperwork to ensure there are no defects on the product.
Set machine parameters according to standard operating procedures written for each specific job.
Check ink viscosity and fill in specified intervals to ensure print quality.
As a team member, follow all safety, quality, plant GMP and safe food handling rules. Person Profile

**The successful applicant will have the ability to**:
Work rotating shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Work unsupervised.
Trouble shoot and help correct problems.
Think beyond what’s happening in a pressure situation.
Perform tasks efficiently.
Accept responsibility for production quality daily.
Follow directives and procedures.
Maintain stock control, advising as to needs and ordering as requested.
Effectively manage time to ensure completion of all assigned tasks.

**Qualifications/Experience**:
Formal Printing Qualification
Previous experience in a similar position/industry
Experience using W&H Press
Attention to detail.
Computer literacy
