**About the role**

The **Nurse Practitioner** must excel in comprehensive patient care, performing autonomous assessments, diagnoses, treatments, screenings, and prescribing medications. Offering personalised advice requires a friendly, compassionate, and proactive approach. Leveraging prior knowledge and skills, you'll care for a diverse patient base across all age groups. You'll receive support from GPs, experienced nurses, administration, and the Medical Centre Manager as part of our collaborative team.

**This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours across Monday to Sunday.**

**Do you have what we are looking for?**
- A current registration with the NZNC as a Nurse Practitioner and current APC is essential
- Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- Prior experience in a medical centre is an advantage
- You practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- An aim to improve healthcare access across the practice population
- An in-depth knowledge of and passion for primary health care
- Ability to demonstrate advanced clinical nursing practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
- A physically fit person who is confident, friendly and approachable.
