**Mō **te tūranga | About the Role**

As a team member at Whenua Service in Somerfield, you’ll be supporting three vibrant young women who are in their 20's. They have a variety of interests, including swimming, aqua jogging, and music therapy. They also find comfort in activities like going for drives, shopping, and spending time with horses through Riding for the Disabled (RDA). Additionally, they enjoy enhancing their kitchen skills.

This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour.

**Nga **haora kua tohua | Rostered hours**:
**Position One**
- Thursday 4pm to 9:30pm, 9:30pm to 7am (Sleepover)
- Friday 7am to 9am, 4pm to 9:30pm, 9:30pm to 7am (Sleepover)
- Saturday 7am to 3pm

Sleepover hours: 42 Hands on hours: 38

Total Hours per fortnight: 80

**Position Two**
- Sunday 8am to 8pm (1hr Break)
- Monday 7am to 9am, 2:30pm to 8:30pm
- Tuesday 7am to 9am, 2:30pm to 8:30pm
- Wednesday 7am to 9am, 2:30pm to 8:30pm

Total Hours per fortnight: 70

Your aroha and approach is what really matters at Hōhepa - previous experience is not a prerequisite because we provide on-the-job training. You will either be an experienced Support Worker looking for a change or you are simply looking for a career where your enthusiasm and passion for helping others will make a real difference in people’s lives.
