As the Level 3 Engineer you will ensure that the corporate server, desktop infrastructure and platforms are performing according to business requirements and are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. You will provide technical leadership and operational expertise to the IT team, develop and review systems design projects and procurement, review outsourcing plans for compliance with IT standards and operational expectations and so much more As a senior member of the IT team it will be expected that you will research emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.

You will possess the following Education and Experience:

- A sound and proven knowledge of MS Server & Desktop technologies including the deployment, support and maintenance thereof.
- Microsoft IT industry Engineer qualification, such as MCITP
- Relevant tertiary qualifications plus proven applied experience at a senior level.
- At least 7+ years IT industry experience

As well as specific skills and competencies including:

- Acts as a change agent for improvement and innovation.
- Assist and/or manage IT project rollouts as and when required.
- Document custom solutions for various business units.
- Demonstrate high professional ethical and moral standards
- Ability to debate issues of importance
