Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist or Medical Officer with an interest in addiction medicine. This role will join the multidisciplinary specialist Addiction Service based in Tauranga.
The focus of this role is to provide Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) for patients across the district in accordance with the New Zealand OST guidelines. The appointee will work with senior psychiatrists and mental health and addiction services registrar colleagues and have close liaison with general practitioners and pharmacists.

**Criteria for this position**:

- You need to be a Vocationally Registered Psychiatrist with the Medical Council of NZ or be eligible for this.
- Have fellowship with the RANZCP or the equivalent is essential.
- A passion for working with those suffering addictions and someone who enjoys teaching and training others in this area.
