Our client, Plazmax are expanding internationally and have a bright future. They are designers and manufacturers of automated profile cutting systems, providing solutions to engineering and manufacturing industries. They are on the lookout for an experience Sheetmetal/Light Engineering Fabricator based at their Rotorua manufacturing facility to join their busy, innovative team.

This is a permanent full-time role, working with a small team of talented engineers and tradespeople. Typical working hours are between 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum 40 hours and a maximum of 45 hours per week. The hourly rate remains the same. The remuneration offered, ranges between $30.00 and $40.00 per hour depending on skill set and experience.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Read plans/drawings and fabricate parts and components for products designed and manufactured by Plazmax and sold into the NZ market and overseas
- Welding work
- Sheetmetal work
- Fabrication work

**The successful applicant will**:

- Be a skilled tradesperson with experience with TIG and MIG on steel, aluminium, and Stainless Steel
- Be customer focused, possess good people skills and a flexible work attitude
- Have an eye for detail and a focus on getting it right first time
- Be able to communicate well in English
- Experience with a CNC Press Brake would be advantageous but not essential

Flexible work hours could be an option, for the right person.
