We are seeking Plastic Surgeons to join our Plastics Team here at Waikato Hospital.
- We are keen to talk to you if you experienced or if you are starting out as a new surgeon. Either way you will play a key role in the development of our service.
- An average week is never average - you will be working across acute and elective surgery, outpatient clinics, skin shop, teaching and serving a wide geographical spread population of over 860,000.
- Positions can be permanent or fixed term, full time or part time by negotiation.
- Acute and elective surgery
- Outpatient clinics
- Ward rounding on post acute and elective patients
- Education and training of Junior staff, and other professions

- Waikato Hospital is a tertiary referral and teaching centre providing a wide range of plastic services including Head and neck ablative, reconstructive surgery, cleft palate and burns for the Midland Region. The department supports 5 regional secondary care and four satellite hospitals.
- The successful applicant(s) will join a well-established, dynamic team of 8 SMO and three MOSS supported by a strong multi disciplinary team.
