**Description**:
Our client designs, implements, supports and manages ICT systems which create secure, reliable and complete business technology solutions. Note this role is based in the Tauranga office.

The purpose is simple, to provide creative technical support for customers plus providing support for colleagues in a highly collaborative manner, resulting in exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction to all.

**What you’ll be doing**:
As the Senior Engineer you will be heavily involved in and sometimes leading the client system design, architecture, plus supporting implementation. Additionally, you will be involved in the following:

- Provide accurate and timely technical support to customers and provide sales support for our team in a collaborative way
- Prepare detailed and accurate design documentation suitable for all
- Actively engage clients and be familiar with all aspects of the customer’s environment to drive the technical standard
- Assist in the successful delivery of client projects, effectively managing project scope, out of scope items and any variations
- Contribute toward the overall objectives of the Engineering Team through support and effective collaboration

**To be successful in this role, you must have**:

- Minimum 2+ years’ recent experience in a Systems Administrator or Engineer role
- Citrix support and implementations would be advantageous
- Various network technologies like switches, wireless and firewalls
- Active Directory and its supporting services like DNS and DHCP
- Scripting with Windows CLI and PowerShell
- Worked for a Managed Service Provider or a Technology Service Provider
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Tertiary education in computer science, technology support services, OR equivalent capability from relevant work experience
