**The Opportunity**:
Komatsu are looking for an experienced Senior Field Service Technician/ Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join the team. The purpose of this role is to provide servicing and maintenance to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired providing aftermarket support to the existing and new customer base.

The hours will be 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime available. Your salary package will include competitive hourly rates plus allowances and Kiwisaver. Komatsu provides you with a company vehicle, mobile phone and extensive training to develop your understanding of Komatsu’s equipment. Komatsu uniforms will also be provided.

**Role Located**:Christchurch Branch - servicing the South Island's West Coast

**The knowledge, skills, and abilities we’re looking for**:

- Relevant Trade Certificate - Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter / Mechanic)
- Post trade experience in a field maintenance position
- Be able to work unsupervised.
- An ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Must have an extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and components.
