**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
Tauranga Hospital is looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Midwife to work as a Clinical Coordinator in the Postnatal department.
The Postnatal Clinical Midwife Coordinator (CMC) will provide direct clinical coordination and expertise that ensures a safe, effective practice environment, which supports the management of patient flow through the Maternity Unit.
The Postnatal Clinical Midwife Coordinator will coordinate primary and secondary postnatal care ensuring midwifery and nursing scope of practice is supported, to assist and support the clinical midwife manager in managing staffing as directed.
This is a permanent part time position. You will work alongside the Clinical Midwife Manager, the Clinical Midwife Coordinators, and the Midwife Clinical Coach, and provide support and guidance to our team of midwives and nurses.
The maternity team is a close and supportive team who aim to provide excellent maternity care in a cheerful and nurturing environment for mothers and their babies. The role will be weekday morning shifts initially and then have the potential to become a 24/7 role with additional coordinators working all shifts.
