Our Geosynthetics and construction manufacturing distribution company client are after a Logistics Assistant/coordinator.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's freight processes. Your duties will include:

- Tracking and monitoring freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues with carriers and suppliers
- Providing clear and effective communication to both internal and external stakeholders regarding freight status and updates
- Accurately loading sales orders into the system and verifying freight invoices
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to freight deliver

Location: Hornby

Hours 7am-5pm

Pay
- depending on experience

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- No formal qualifications or experience are required
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practice is desired
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems is essential
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution
