With the industry's most comprehensive suite of digitally enabled platforms, tools and analytics, Treasury and Trade Solutions leads the way in delivering innovative and tailored solutions to clients. **In this role, you're expected to**: - To undertake and supervise all banking operations (including day 2) in New Zealand - Management of branch liquidity in ESAS queue - To obtain all necessary credit approvals when required - is this still relevant? - Maybe required to supervise staff members - Report to Australian based managers - Build working relationship with all areas of the bank including Business Heads and Relationship Managers, NZ Treasury - To respond to all requests for information, local and regional - Drive process efficiencies in the operations area - To maintain full Branch COB (Continuation of Business) preparedness - What does this mean? - To minimise operational losses - Working with the industry and regional teams on all systems developments, process improvements and COB/BCP testing - At least 5 years previous experience in the banking industry - A good working knowledge of the retail and wholesale payments systems operating in New Zealand. Including RTGS, CLS, NZClear, SBI, SCP etc. - Must be able to represent Citibank on the industry committees of Payments NZ and the New Zealand Bankers’ Association - Would require international payments experience using SWIFT - Must be able to work alone without supervision and within a small team - Must be able to work through new systems and gain an understanding of how they operate - Good time management skills - Some background in project management would be an advantage - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Transaction Services - **Job Family**: Cash Management - **Time Type**: - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
