**Ko wai mātou/**Who we are**

The Māori Land Court is a business arm of the Ministry of Justice whose purpose it is to ‘_strengthen people's trust in the law of Aotearoa New Zealand'_.

For its part, the Māori Land Court is a court of record responsible for managing the accurate recording of Māori land ownership. This is driven by the recognition of whenua as taonga tuku iho and the unique relationship between Māori and whenua.

**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**:
As a data entry role you will need to be a stickler for accuracy and be crazy focussed on the details and a responsibility to set and maintain a high standard of work.

As a member of the Māori Land Court you will be expected to use te reo Māori and practice tikanga Māori in your daily work so you'll need to be comfortable, competent and confident to do that.

If you can operate under pressure, in a fast pace, you are self-directed, highly motivated and have a commitment to whānau wellbeing through whenua - then this is the role for you.

The salary range is between $52,729 and $74,441 per annum and your starting rate will be based on your skills and experience.
