**What you will be doing**

You'll contribute to the ongoing success of Tower by protecting and enhancing our reputation with regulators. While this role reports to the Senior Compliance & Regulatory Manager, it will also support executive stakeholders, and senior leaders efficiently manage regulator engagements.

The role will also support the delivery of key risk and compliance initiatives to enable Tower to maintain and strengthen its risk and compliance management practices.

**Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate and support interactions with regulators and industry bodies
- Create and maintain appropriate regulatory affairs policies, standards and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained and enhanced
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and act as a gatekeeper to help promote consistent standards and practices during regulatory interactions including appropriate record keeping.
- Assist with monitoring of compliance obligations, management of compliance plans and facilitating training

**What You'll Need**

To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:

- Experience partnering or working alongside the business to uplift processes and risk and control maturity would be considered favourably.
- Experience and demonstrated capability preparing clear, concise and effective reporting to boards and governance forums would be considered favourably.
- Strong understanding of key regulatory regimes relating to financial market conduct and consumer protection relevant to insurance customers.
- Excellent planning skills and work-ethic combined with an ability to change focus quickly and ability to navigate high volume and competing demands.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - you'll be comfortable proactively engaging with stakeholders at all levels and roles across Tower from executives to business specialists.
