**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are currently recruiting for a **Panel Beater**to join our team at Penrose, 51 Church Street, Auckland 1061 New Zealand.

This role requires you to:

- Use mechanical and hydraulic equipment to straighten damaged vehicle structures and components
- Repair dents by hammering panels.
- Fill surface depressions using plastic filler, then file, grind, and sand for a smooth finish.
- Use welding equipment to cut and join replacement sections
- Replace unrepairable panels with new or second-hand panels
- Remove damaged panels, parts, upholstery, and accessories to access affected areas.
- Install repaired or replacement panels and refit body hardware
- May perform spray-painting tasks on repaired vehicles.
- May assist vehicle body builders with constructing and restoring custom-designed, vintage, and specialty vehicles.

**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years previous experience as a Panel Beater.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and achieve service outcomes
- Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety practices.
- Drivers License.
- Appropriate New Zealand Working Rights.
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing as and when required
