**Te Kowhiringa | The Opportunity**

Based in sunny Nelson, you will assist with a diverse range of construction and some civil works across the region. Working alongside a dedicated/hardworking team, you will be operating machinery including excavators, loaders, rollers, and trucks but will also from time to time help with general labour to help get the job done.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

With some experience in operating heavy machinery under your belt, you will be a confident operating within a team and independently as required. You will be comfortable using machinery to get the job done. You’ll also:

- Enjoy working outdoors alongside a team
- Be reliable and hard working with a positive 'can do' attitude
- A willingness to learn
- Show commitment to safe work practises
- Have a Class 2-5 licence
- Hold WTR endorsement (beneficial but not essential)
- Be flexible to pick up occasional weekend work
