We have an exciting opportunity available at our Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility (ARWCF). Situated in Wiri, Manukau ARWCF recognise the women we manage have different needs to men therefore we have set an approach that will give our women the care, treatment, encouragement, counselling, skills and support required to shape better futures for themselves, their children and their families.
Mō te tūnga | About the role
As the Workforce Planner, your role will be responsible for enabling ARWCF to perform efficiently and effectively, to ensure staff are fully deployable and trained to meet all of the required standards.
The key part of your role will be to ensure seamless management of the operational requirements to meet the 28-day compliance, to ensure effective placement of staff to meet site needs.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity, for an operationally focussed individual to support the leadership team and wider ARWCF community.
**To be successful you will bring the following**:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with custodial rostering and reporting
- Proven experience in roster development
- Well organised, skilled planner and able to work under pressure
- Excellent written communication skills delivering communications in plain English, which are clear, concise, and logical
- Sound understanding of risk management processes
- Strong analytical and data skills to organise and understand information from a variety of inputs
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers and manage stakeholder relationships at a senior level
- Ability to think conceptually, making the connections between strategy, policies and day-to-day operational service delivery and communicating these to operational managers and staff
- Ability to gather, absorb and assess data, exercise judgement on relevant and materiality and feed into the management decision making processes
- Demonstrated resilience to external and internal influences and pressures
A full driver's license is essential for this position. The preferred applicant will also demonstrate exceptional communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to influence, inspire and motivate.
Utu ā-Tau | Salary and Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $91,953, - $129,816 mid-point is $108,180, Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
