Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution, which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates, across a range of disciplines.
We require a highly motivated co-ordinator to professionally administer payroll and support the HR function at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi. An important focus of the role is to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time each fortnight.
To successfully undertake this role you will have:
- A diploma in a business-related field
- Extensive payroll processing and reporting experience
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
- Experience in the co-ordination and administration of payroll related matters
- Experience in Human Resources co-ordination and administration
- Competency in tikanga Māori and Te Reo Māori
- Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and case law
- Excellent word processing, data entry and numerical skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
- A current driver’s licence
