**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Co-ordinator to provide cover for planned leave and to assist our busy Booking team. This role requires a high level of confidentiality as you will be required to deal with sensitive information.

**About the Team/Service/ Location**

The booking team play an essential role in coordinating the Outpatient and Surgical bookings across Hastings hospital. You will need to be an effective communicator, have excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

**About you**

We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a busy role, and it is essential that you have the following skills:

- Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power point) and related functions and generally be computer savvy with the ability to learn the other software packages used.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - internally and externally.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Multi-tasking & Organisational abilities
- Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your own workload, as well as work as part of the team.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
