Our Auckland event and training venue is perfectly placed for our corporate and government clientele in the heart of the CBD. We are seeking **expressions of interest** from exceptional **Venue Managers** to steer our venue to even greater heights, cementing Cliftons’ reputation as the leader in our field.
**About the Role**
Venue Managers at Cliftons have full ownership full ownership of all delivery and operational aspects of the venue. Our business is diverse and tailored to our clients - from corporate training, to events, exams and corporate cocktail parties.
On a day-to-day level, the role will encompass:

- Overall operational management of the venue, including presentation and maintaining service delivery KPI’s
- Team management including recruitment, rostering, on-the-job training and performance (with support provided from HR)
- Pre-empting client needs to deliver outstanding customer service and professionally managing queries, feedback and resolution process
- Venue budget management
- Process management and ongoing improvement
- Liaising with building management**

**About You**
In addition, you will:

- Be an effective leader, able to engage, motivate and manage a diverse team
- Have proven experience multi-tasking and exceptional organisation skills to successfully manage multiple events or clients simultaneously
- Be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced and busy professional environment
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Have the ability to confidently identify issues and quickly find the most appropriate customer centric solution
- Be self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate cost control and labour management experience
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical exemption
